My little drama queens on the boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach
Now in its third year, it appears that the multi-generational trip to Rehoboth Beach with the family is officially an annual event. My girls look forward to this trip and spending quality time with grandparents and cousins, not to mention gorging themselves on Dolles Salt Water Taffy, Trasher’s Fries (oh wait, that would be me) and Grotto Pizza. In addition to the beach and carnivals on the boardwalk, we enjoy going to the water park at Jungle Jim’s and shopping at the outlets (oh wait, that would be me again), but this year I’m looking for other activities in the area to mix it up a bit. And guess what? There’s an app for that.

Hurry up and take the picture. Grotto’s Pizza is waiting. |
I looked up “family activities” and the dates we’ll be in Rehoboth Beach and was rewarded with several pages of suggestions, including a production of Snow White at the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theater, the Zwaanendael Museum, which commemorates the Dutch settlement of Delaware in 1631 and right at the top, Jungle Jim’s. I don’t mind going to Jungle Jim’s again – just as long as I get equal time at the outlets.
